Across the water, with the same guide
In 2027 we offer Ireland as an extension to a Scotland journey. From 2028, standalone Ireland journeys with an Irish guide.
How the 2027 extensions work
You begin in Scotland. When the time comes, your driver-guide takes you and your vehicle on the ferry from Cairnryan to Belfast, a crossing of about two and a quarter hours, and your journey continues in Northern Ireland and, if you wish, the Republic of Ireland.
There is no change of guide, no second company and no luggage handover. Most guests then fly home from Dublin, which has a wide choice of flights to North America.
Standalone Ireland from 2028
From 2028 we will offer Ireland-only journeys led by an Irish guide, planned with the same care. If you're interested, build your trip with the places you'd like to see and mention it in your notes; we'll be in touch as dates open.
